What’s In My Makeup Bag

10 Sep

Hi guys

I know I haven ‘t done a post in forever!! I have been crazy busy but hopefully am back and will definitely be regular:)

So I thought I’d share with you what I carry in my makeup bag which is always in my purse! I personally don’t like carrying a lot of things in it. I always do my makeup before leaving home and just keep things in my makeup bag that I need for retouching up my makeup, and honestly I hate making my purse heavier than necessary. I don’t advice you to keep all your makeup with you in your bag. One of my girlfriend’s forgot her makeup bag in the car and all her lipsticks completely melted. Thankfully they were mostly MAC lipsticks and with the help of the back to MAC program she got a few for free. Try and keep the most essential items in your bag that you can’t live without.

Here are a few items that I keep in my bag:

1. My MAC Studio Fix Foundation powder (I use NC35): I always keep this with me incase I need it during the day

2. Urban Decay De-Slick mattifying powder: This product is amazing! I have a really oily t-zone and this really helps me during the day to keep my face looking oil-free. I definitely recommend this to those of you who have oily skin (Available at Sephora)

3. Mirror (Mine is from body shop)

4. A compact size nail file

5. Vaseline Lip therapy: in case my lips get dry

6. Eye Pencil (Urban Decay and Prestige)

7. A nude lipstick and lip gloss: I always keep this in my bag

8. Tweezer: I don’t know why I have this in my bag but it’s always there

9. Travel size blush brush to retouch my blush

10. Things that keep changing in my makeup bag are lipstick, lip gloss and blush depending what I am wearing on that day

11. Q tips: in case I wanna fix my eye makeup

12. A disposable mascara wand

My Makeup bag is from Bloomingdale’s Dubai
